CUBE LAB

PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

CUBE LAB uses only the information needed to operate the site. There are no accounts or comment forms; personal practice data stays in your browser and only anonymous solve results are used for the shared ranking.

Effective August 27, 2026 · Last updated October 14, 2026

1. Browser and ranking information

CUBE LAB does not operate a registration or contact form that asks for a name, phone number, or address. Your personal best is stored under cube-best-time and a random anonymous identifier under cube-player-id-v1 in local browser storage.

When you solve a fresh scramble, the anonymous identifier, elapsed time, move count, scramble and turn sequences, and achievement time are sent to the server. The server replays the sequence to verify the solve, hashes the identifier, and stores only your fastest result with a generated anonymous code. Names and contact details are not used for the ranking.

Clearing this site’s stored data removes the browser values. The shared ranking retains up to 5,000 best results while the service operates. To request removal, send the anonymous code shown in the ranking through the contact channel.

2. Information processed automatically

Cloudflare may process standard logs such as access time, requested URL, browser or device information, and IP address for delivery, security, and incident analysis. Anonymous ranking data is processed in the Upstash storage connected to this site. CUBE LAB does not use this information to build or sell personal profiles.

3. Advertising and cookies

CUBE LAB includes a Google AdSense script and publisher identifier for site ownership verification and advertising eligibility review. There are currently no active in-content ad units and no visible ads, but Google may process technical request data such as IP address, browser, and device information when it provides the script.

If ads are enabled after approval, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar identifiers for delivery, frequency control, abuse prevention, and measurement. A consent process will be presented first where required. Google explains data use on partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and ad choices are available at adssettings.google.com.

Kakao AdFit request code is not currently executed on public pages. This policy and its revision date will be updated if the provider or placement changes.

4. External links

Some links, such as the public contact channel, lead to external services. Their own privacy policies apply after you leave CUBE LAB.

5. Children and policy changes

The site is a general puzzle-learning tool and does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 14. If data practices or advertising tools change, this policy and its revision date will be updated.
